Well, friends, we are at it again!
Up on deck: USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice 2024 Awards! This is our SIXTH YEAR of nomination (2019-2024), and we are humbled, stoked, dedicated, and on a mission to continue to deliver superior excellence and unparalleled experiences to our guests and team! You might remember that we won in 2022, were voted 2nd in 2021 and 2023, and placed high in 2019 and 2020. We believe this is our year, and we need your kōkua to clench 1st place, ok!?
Before we share how to vote for the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice 2024 Awards, we want to emphasize that this nomination is totally separate from the 2024 Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards Best Boat Tour that we were simultaneously nominated for. That’s right, we are in the running for Best Boat Tour in two contests at the same time! Voting for Newsweek ends May 2, 2024, at noon EST, and the top ten winners will be announced on May 9, 2024!
Here’s the Scoop on the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice 2024 Awards:
Nominees are submitted by a panel of experts. 10Best editors narrow the field to select the final set of nominees for the Readers’ Choice Awards. Readers can vote once per day.
VOTE HERE for Holo Holo Charters until the polls close on Monday, May 27, 2024 at noon EST. The 10 winning tour companies will be announced on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Why Vote Holo Holo?
Holo Holo Charters was founded in 1997 by Kevin Millett, a third-generation boat builder and avid sailor. Kevin hired a small crew and built the company’s OG 65’ power catamaran Holoholo on island at the old pineapple cannery in Lāwaʻi.
Fast-forward to 2024, and Holo Holo Charters has been serving up the best boat tours on Kauaʻi daily for nearly 27 years. Kevin added another vessel to our fleet, Leila, a 50’ powered sailing catamaran, and our new leaders, Adrian and Chandra Bertsch, have exciting plans to build two more vessels. With Kevin’s guidance on deck, Adrian will lead the boat-building team this time, so stay tuned!
